Preparing Your Catelog
The first step in outsourcing is to prepare your Lightroom catalog.
To do this, you should:
1. Open lightroom and click Create a New Catalog when prompted.
2. Name your Catalog and save it to your preferred location. Just use the couple's first name e.g (John + Jane) to limit the number of characters in the filename.
3. Import images into your catalog by clicking File - Import Photos and Video.
Another way is to drag and drop the photos to the library window in Lightroom.
4. Edit any images you wish to use as reference and mark them Yellow. Many photographers edit sneak peeks for their clients. This is a great way to provide us with images to refer to when editing.
