Reviewing Your Finished Order

To review your finished order, you need to get the original Smart Preview file and put this in the same folder as the edited catalog (.lrcat) file

Copy the original smart preview file (.lrdata) and paste it to the same folder where you save the edited catalog on your computer. 

( e.g I downloaded the edited catalog and saved it on my desktop, I will copy the smart preview file and paste it on the desktop) after both catalog and smart previews are saved in the same folder or location, double-click the catalog (.lrcat) to view the edits in Lightroom.

Since this is the first time the edited catalog is loaded in Lightroom, it may take a few seconds/minutes for the images to display, this is because during this time, Lightroom is still linking the edited catalog to the smart previews.

If you are seeing a "File not found" error, please check the catalog and smart previews file are named the same:

  • John+Jane.lrcat
  • John+Jane Smart Previews.lrdata
